Account information

When you sign in, ParsecScope and its authentication provider use your account identifier, first name and surname when supplied by your sign-in provider, email address, email verification status and account activity timestamps to provide and protect your membership. Authorized administrators can view member email addresses, membership dates and successful website login times. Passwords are handled by Auth0 and are not displayed to administrators. Google sign-in is handled through Google and our authentication provider, Auth0.

Essential cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect the login process. We use a first-party visit cookie (30-minute inactivity window) and visible-page heartbeats to estimate visits and time on this website. Authorized administrators can see hosting-edge-reported IP addresses, visit times and signed-in email identifiers. Anonymous visitors have no username. Reports cover the latest 30 days; older visit records are removed during subsequent reporting or visitor activity. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control opt-outs are honored. No advertising trackers or cross-site fingerprinting are added. Hosting and authentication providers may keep operational security logs under their own privacy policies.

Support messages

Signed-in members can send general enquiries to authorized ParsecScope staff. We store message text, account identifiers and timestamps so both sides can read the conversation across visits. Staff can read and reply to support conversations; other members cannot. Messages remain until deleted by the operator following an account or support request. Do not include patient information or medical images. Support is not monitored for emergencies and does not provide clinical advice.

Medical information

This website does not accept patient records or medical image uploads. Please do not put patient information in your account details.

Your account

While signed in, My account shows your current connection IP address and approximate city, region, country and network timezone when supplied by the hosting service. The hosting-based display uses the current request. When you open My account, our server searches Google for the current IP address plus “location”, without sending account cookies, names or emails. If Google does not return a clear readable result, your browser looks up the IP through ipapi.is over HTTPS, without account cookies, names or emails. These providers receive the queried IP and ordinary request metadata under their privacy policies. A direct Google-search link is also available; opening it uses your browser and its Google settings. No browser location permission is requested. Results are cached in the current browser tab for up to six hours per IP to reduce repeated lookups; failed requests back off for ten minutes, or until the next UTC day if the free limit is reached. Results are not stored in your account. They are not a precise location or lifetime location history.

You can log out at any time. Account access is for general member information.
